51% increase in sales with Facebook and Instagram targeted advertising
The Client has been supplying elite alcohol in Tetra Pak to the Ukrainian market for 8 years.
Progress:
3 advertising campaigns were set up to increase sales for a certain type of product “alcohol in Tetra Pak”:
- for the most popular alcoholic drinks in Tetra Pak;
- for a specific drink “whiskey in Tetra Pak”;
- for less popular alcoholic drinks in Tetra Pak;
"Pay-per-impression" was selected as the method of payment for advertising. Maximum campaign bid for three campaigns - $0.30.
Placements were chosen to show the AС: Facebook feed and Instagram feed. Ads format is a carousel (to demonstrate all the positions that need to be sold).
The targeted audience was:
- Gift shoppers;
- Distilled beverages;
- Birthday;
- Duty Free Shop;
- Bartender.

The initial budget was $300 for the AС entire term;
The cost per click was $0.08 when the campaign was launched and during the week, it was reduced by $0.02.
Recommendations on creatives:
- using the carousel format to display the most popular items and showcase the assortment;
- text in the picture should not exceed 30%;
- make headlines concise and relevant to your potential customers.
Show out information that is more specific: prices, discounts, dates. Such ads will attract attention;
- emoji should be used sparingly;
- add call to action.
Deliverables
At the end of the month, the amount of traffic from the target in relation to the total amount of traffic increased by 60%, and the number of orders on the site by 51%. $225 total spent.
Appeal to this traffic source and high-quality study of the targeted audience brought a large amount of cheap traffic, as well as the largest number of orders with the lowest order price of $0.78.
